The 25 year-old football star grew up watching many football legends.
Toone started playing football at the age of six. She was playing for Astley & Tyldesley FC when Manchester united talent scout spotted her.
Unfortunately, the club did not have a women’s team at Old Trafford so she was encouraged to link up with Blackburn Rover’s ladies after playing for six years.

Her performance at the club was very good and she was nominated for the FA Women’s young player of the year award in May 2018.
Toone joined Manchester united in July 2018 and made her debut in a 1-0 victory against Liverpool on August 19 during the league cup.
