Brooks Laich made his first appearance in junior hockey career when he enrolled to play for the ‘Moose Jaw Warriors’ specifically in the wake of the 2001 season of the Western Hockey League. Brook has played over 70 outstanding games for the Warriors. His dedication as a student of Moose Jam got him the Club’s Scholastic Player of the Year title for the season out of his unmatched performance. Which titled the searchlight of big clubs towards him and eventually, during the 2001 NHL Entry draft, he was drafted by the Ottawa Senators. Laich witnessed his entrance in professional Hockey in  February 2003, when he signed a deal with ‘Birmingham Senators’ at the American Hockey League. However, within the season, Brooks was loaned to the ‘Washington Capitals’.

In the same year, Brooks made a debut with Canadian Team at 2003 World Junior Championships against Sweden where he won a silver medal.

Turn out of events saw him joining the Capitals’ AHL affiliate and played against the Chicago Blackhawks, and ended up spending  the entire 2004 to 2005 season with the Pirates. While 2005-2006 season, Brook jostles between playing for both the Capitals and new AHL affiliate.

Again, Brooks Laich played the second international games during the 2010 World Championships where he went a little out of form, and scored only one goal in seven games. Sadly, Brook’s team, Canada finished at the seventh position.

His club the Washington Capitals took part in the 2011 NFL Winter Classic, yet in the same year, he signed another contract with The Capitals for next six years.

Nevertheless, in the short-lived 2012 season, Brooks played for the Kloten Flyers of Switzerland’ National League and featured in a total of 33 games.

Brooks and Julianne first met in December 2013, while he was playing for the Los Angeles King. After two years of their relationship, the duo got engaged in 2015.
