During the Tokyo 2020 Olympics, Great Britain and Chile took a knee on the pitch before their match and so did the United States and Sweden. Players from New Zealand also did while their counterparts; Australia remained standing with arms locked together.
Images of this act of solidarity were excluded by the International Olympic Committee but in recent times, they said they would start including these images on its official highlights reels and social media.
