Christian Guzman was born on the 20th day of February 1993 in Houston, Texas. While in high school, he so much loved playing guitar that he eventually joined a band that plays rock. However, the band was disbanded and Guzman changed his direction and turned his attention to health and fitness management. It was during this period that he was able to create and develop his own fitness program.

In 2011, Guzman got admitted into Texas Christian University to study, but he forfeited without completing the degree program to enable him to pursue his dreams in the fitness business.

Prior to his dropping out of school, Guzman started his fitness vlog in 2012 by making personal videos of weight-lifting tips and instructions. You may be tempted to ask why he became so successful within a short period of time? He incorporated some aspects of his personal life into it and is self-described as similar to “reality television.”

And this is what attracted huge followership to his YouTube channel. It is interesting to note that when Guzman first started, he posted fitness videos every single week. By the end of the first year, he gained 3000 subscribers; it grew to 20,000 by the second year and by the third year it jumped to 260,000 subscribers.

Due to his success in online fitness coaching, an article ran on him by Bodybuilding.com in 2015 titled “300,000 People Watch Every Time He Trains!” The article describes Guzman as one of the most widely recognized fitness YouTube personalities. His fame and popularity soared higher that by 2017, Guzman’s YouTube subscribers grew to over 740,000 with a million followers on Instagram.

Following his huge social media success, Guzman took his fitness coaching and business to another new dimension by launching his company and clothing line “Alphalete Athletics” to sell fitness and lifestyle apparel.
