Anderson’s fame and success story is closely linked to the support he gets from his wife, Dayane Silva. The two reportedly met in 1992 and were together for many years before they finally tied the knot in 2017.
At the time they got married, they had been together for twenty-five years of their lives during which they had five children. Dayane who is also from Brazil was a gymnast who represented her country at the 2000 and 2004 Olympics.
Throughout Silva’s career rise, Dayane has been in the background giving her husband support. However, she made the news during a bout between her husband and Chael Sonnen who thrash-talked her. After her husband challenged and defeated Sonnen to defend her honor, she backed her husband’s invitation of the fighter to a barbeque in their home. Dayane went further to lay the terms of the invitation to state he is welcome but he ‘can’t touch her but’ while praising her husband’s win in the face-off.
