Fayza was also part of AS Bondy’s handball team as a right-winger. She has been a major push and encouragement for her son who is now a successful football player that is reckoned worldwide. She was born in 1974.

Kylian has two brothers who are footballers like him. They are

1. Ethan Mbappé Lottin

Ethan is a professional footballer who was born on the 29th day of December 2006 and has played for Paris Saint-Germain’s under-12 squad in 2018.

He began his football career with his brothers in AS Bondy in 2015. Two years later, he moved on to Paris Saint-Germain in the same transfer window that brought his brother on loan.

Unlike his brother Kylian who is a forward in the game and is known for his lightning-quick pace, Ethan is a technical left-footed midfielder.

Away from sports his sports life, Ethan Mbape was in January 2022 hit by a drunk driver while driving in his car. He thankfully did not suffer many injuries.

2. Jirès Kembo Ekoko

Born on the 8th of January 1988, Kembo is Mbappe’s adoptive brother. He is a French-Congolese professional football striker who has played for the Turkish club Bursaspor. His paternal father is Kembo Uba Kembo, also a football midfielder who played for Zaire in the 1974 FIFA World Cup.

Kembo started playing football in the streets and was spotted by scouts in school. He signed with the youth team AS Bondy in 1997 when he was just 9 years old and later moved to another youth team called Clairefontaine at age 13 where he trained for 3 years.

At the end of his 3 years of training in Clairefontaine, Kembo joined Rennes and greatly improved his skills in the club. He was so good in the game and was nicknamed ‘Kembinho’ by his teammates.

Ekoko may in the future play for the France national team as he received French citizenship in 2008 and has also been called up for the nation’s team under 21.
