Youssef En-Nesyri is the youngest child of his parents Rachid En-Nesyri and Saida Haddou. He was born on June 1,1997 and he is 27 years old at present. The player grew up in Fez; a city in northern inland Morrocco alongside his two siblings; Mohammed Amin Al-Nasaira and Zainan Zumrude.

Following Youssef’s athletic skills, he was enrolled at the Mohanned VI Academy to hone his skills and subsequently get scouted. The Fez-born was only 12 years old at that time. It was at this time he made his professional and La Liga debut as a substitute for a Keko against RCD Espanyol in a 2-2 away draw.
Youssef later signed a 5-year contract with CD Leganes in 2018 for a fee of €6 million. Albeit in January 2020, the Spanish professional club, Sevilla FC signed him from Leganes at a value of €20 million, and the contract is set to expire in 2025.

Youssef currently represents his country Morroco at the international level. He made his international debut at the age of 18 in 2016 and played against Albania in a 0-0 draw.
With the team, he participated in several games including; the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations in Gabon, the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia, the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations in Egypt, the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations in Cameroon, and the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar which is his second World Cup appearance.
