Tierna Davidson, whose full name is Tierna Lillis Davidson, was born on September 19, 1998, in Menlo Park, California, United States. Details about her parents and early life remain quite vague at the moment. However, it has been reported that while growing up, she initially dreamed of becoming an astronaut before she started pursuing football actively.
After her high school education, she was accepted into Stanford University in 2016. While in college, Tierna joined the college football team and was very instrumental in defending the nets of the Standford squad, helping them to win the 2017 NCAA Soccer Tournament.
Her rare skills earned her the title of the Most Outstanding Defensive Player for the 2017 College Cup before she left Standford in 2018.

Following the amendment of the National Women’s Soccer League’s rules regarding the NWSL College Draft which now provides the opportunity for players to enter the draft even before actually completing their college eligibility, Tierna became one of the recipients of that new law as she got drafted by the Chicago Red Stars before her final year in the University.
Consequently, on March 11, 2019, she signed her official contract with Chicago Red Stars. So far, she has made very few appearances for the club and has begun to impress fans. International career
At the international level, Tierna Davidson has made quite an impact in representing her country, the United States in different capacities. In 2018, Tierna was a part of the U-20 WNT. That same year, she earned her first US senior team cap in the friendly match against Denmark on the 21st of January.
She also joined the U-20 team that competed in the 2018 CONCACAF Women’s U-20 Championship which was held at Trinidad & Tobago. During the tournament, Tierna netted one in their match against Mexico while the US team was defeated in the penalty shootouts.
However, Tierna ended up not being listed in the final list for the 2018 FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup this was not unconnected to the fact that she was invited to join the senior US Women’s National Team. Subsequently, Tierna became listed on the final roaster of the USWNT for the 2018 Tournament of Nations on July 18, 2018.
She scored her first international goal during the match against Chile on the 31st of August, 2018 nevertheless, the US team ended up winning the trophy.
Unfortunately, Tierna could not feature in the 2018 CONCACAF Women’s Championship as she suffered a fractured ankle injury while playing for her college team Stanford.
