Brodus Clay is an American professional wrestler who once worked as a bodyguard to Snoop Dogg, the position that many people assumed he got because of his physique. Murdoch delved into wrestling career properly when his dream of becoming a footballer was dashed out due to the rupture he got during an appendix surgery which left his leg with a permanent limp.
He got his fame from the World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) as a professional wrestler and is recognized as a result of his strength and style in the ring.

The wrestler was born on the 21st of February, 1973. He was brought up by a black father who was very abusive and a white mother who was only 15 when she had him while his father was 19. Because of the abusive nature of his father, his mother was forced to later leave him and the wrestler and his brother had to live with a foster family because his mother’s family was not ready to accept them because they were biracial. Even though their mother would later come for them, Murdoch would not stay at home for a long time as he left when he was only 15.
Brodus Clay attended the Antelope Valley College and head to the University of Nebraska at Kearney. Before then, he went to Quartz Hill High School in Los Angeles County, California and after his high school education, he went to the University of Nebraska at Kearney with the hopes of becoming a teacher.
Although Tyrus had the hopes of becoming a footballer, he later switched to wrestling and made his debut in 2006. Since then, the large man has continued to be in the ring.
During his time working with WWE, Murdoch made a great impact becoming the fourth season becoming a runner –up of the match NXT. For his contribution to the world of wrestling and his excellence, Murdoch’s name has been added to the Famous Wrestler list. In 2006 Clay used the name ‘G-Rilla’ as his ring name for his debut defeating Big Bully Douglas in a dark match in 2007 G-Rilla became the number one contender to the Florida championship wrestling (FCW) defeating Teddy Hart to win the battle royal.
After defeating Jacob Novak and Rudy Parker in 2010, Murdoch changed his ring name from G-Rilla to ‘Brodus Clay’, before he was released by World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) In middle of 2014 Murdoch had gone ahead of in September 2014 to debut for Total Nonstop Action Wrestling (TNA) under the ring name ‘Tyrus’ and in 2015 he became the number one contender for the TNA world heavyweight championship after winning a gauntlet for the gold match. Murdoch defeated his former boss Ethan Carter III in 2018 before confirming his release and departure from the company
Aside from wrestling Murdoch is also an actor and has featured in several television shows either as a contributor, commentator, analyst, co-host, or a host. He has also featured in a series of movies including; No one lives, Scooby-Doo and the likes.

Quite a large number of online sources recount that Murdoch is in a relationship with Ingrid Rinick, his longtime girlfriend whom he has a child.
