Corey Sanders biography
Corey Sanders was born on the 17th of April in 1997; his birth took place in the city of Lakeland, Florida where he spent most of his childhood. There is not a lot of information available on his family or the type of childhood he had. The identity of his father is not known but he is the son of a woman called Keisha Divvens and he has a sister called Kelsie. The lack of information about his immediate family also extends to his daughter whose identity is not known neither has the identity of his child’s mother been revealed by him.
In the course of getting a high school diploma and building a career in high school basketball, Sanders went to more than three high schools. He was initially enrolled at McKeel Academy which is located in Lakeland, the place he was born. By the time he was a sophomore student he moved to another school in the area, this time it was George W. Jenkins but he was here for a short while as well before getting transferred to Kathleen High school in the same Lakefield area. The next school he enrolled at was George W. Jenkins, his second school and then when he moved to Georgia he attended the Christian private school, Faith Baptist Christian Academy.
The last school he attended was West Oaks high school in Orlando which is where he graduated from. While he was going back and forth between schools he also signed up to join the IMG Academy also located in Florida, but because he moved he had to leave the academy. In all of these schools he attended, Sanders found a way to play in the basketball teams.
During his transfers, his gameplay was slightly tumultuous but by the time he was in his senior year, he led the West Oaks team to a State Championship victory. Even as a high school student he shone and was highly sought after by many Universities for him to join their team.
When it was time to pick a college to attend Sanders initially selected the University of Central Florida but decided to go to Rutgers University, at Rutgers he studied Labor Studies and Employment Relations. By his second year at College, he was ready to join the NBA draft. In the course of his college career, he made moves to join the NBA draft twice, in his sophomore and junior years, when he was a very viable option for teams but he opted to remain in the school’s team.
In 2018 when he was done at Rutgers he joined the draft again but this time no team picked him and he remained undrafted. Corey Sanders is a confident player who likes to show off his skills on his court but his prowess as a player was not satisfactory for any team. Regardless he was picked by the Rio Grande Valley Vipers but the team decided they did not want him anymore. Corey Sanders currently plays with the Mega Basket Georgia and just as he did in college and high school he is having a very successful career playing for the team.
