The wrestler was born Gionna Daddio on June 8th, 1994, in Elmwood Park, New Jersey, USA. She is the youngest of six children born to her parents. Liv has four brothers and a sister.
Unfortunately, her father passed away when she was little, leaving her mother to provide for the family, so things were kind of hard for her growing up. It was during her childhood years that Liv became enamored with wrestling, and would often spend time wrestling her siblings in the backyard.
She was a student at Henry P. Becton Regional High School for several years until she dropped out when she was 16. By the time Liv was 18, she had moved out of her mother’s house to fend for herself. As a result of her good looks, Liv Morgan was able to make a career out of competitive cheerleading and modeling.

In 2014, while working out at Joe Defranco’s gym in Wyckoff, New Jersey, Liv was discovered by a WWE scout, who offered a contract with the promotion. After accepting, she was assigned to the NXT brand and promptly began training. She made her first appearance in 2015 as a planted fan who tackled Tyler Breeze as he was making his way to the ring.
Her debut match was in October 2015 when she went up against Eva Marie and lost. At the time, she was fighting under the name Marley, but she would later adopt Liv Morgan in time for her rematch against Eva in December of that same year. This fight also ended in a loss for her.
In 2017, Liv was elevated to the WWE main roster and left NXT to fight in Smackdown Live. Her debut was as part of The Riott Squad with Ruby Riott and Sarah Logan. The group later joined RAW where they fought until 2019 when Liv was moved to the Smackdown brand.
She made her Smackdown debut on July 16, 2019, against Charlotte Flair. Liv lost the match by submission.
