Larry Fitzgerald Jr. is an American football player. The wide receiver is not a new player to football lovers as he has spent close to two decades playing for the Arizona Cardinals from 2004 to 2020. Larry was selected 11 times to the Pro Bowl, and he is a two-time NFL reception leader.
Aside from his colorful career, the 42-year-old is not yet to be married despite having high-profile relationships with women like Angela Nazario and Melissa Blakesley, the mothers of his two children, Devin Fitzgerald, and Apollo Fitzgerald.

The last woman known as his girlfriend is Melissa Blakesley, however, they never got married.
She is a social media influencer with many followers. Having met the player sometime in 2010, it was not long after that she became a well-known person.
Melissa is a self-described stylist who attended the East Tennessee State University located in Johnson City Tennesse.
Following the breakdown of their relationship, Melissa Blakesley took various shots at the receiver on social media. Considering the loved-up appearances they made at public events, their relationship issues became a public scandal. They dated on and off till 2020 when they finally broke up for the last time.
Prior to their breakup, she called him out on social media severally and even made fun of him for not winning the Superbowl on a valentine’s message.
She also alleged that he was toxic and a liar. On his part, he accused her of holding him back from dating others. In spite of their breakup, Melissa still has pictures of them on her timeline. While this is not the first relationship for the NFL player who played 17 seasons with the Cardinals, he was also accused of domestic abuse in a previous relationship.
They Share A Son Together
Away from Larry and Melissa’s relationship which lasted for five years, they welcomed a son together. Melissa gave birth to their only child, Apollo Fitzgerald on April 23, 2013.
However, even after the birth of their child and the years that they spent together, the two were never engaged.
While he is the only child connecting them, Apollo is not the only child of either of them. Melissa had another son, Darion Dylan Blakesley from a previous relationship. She has not revealed the identity of his father.

His first publicized relationship was with Angela Nazario, a former cheerleader for Las Vegas Raiders- the Raiderettes. They started dating in 2006 and broke up in 2008. Throughout the two years that they were together, the relationship was filled with many controversies.
Also, they had a son, Devin during their relationship. However, his birth complicated their issues as Fitzgerald insisted he was not the father of Nazario’s unborn child. The issue strained the relationship and drove them apart while she was pregnant.
Fitzgerald also requested a paternity test after Devin was born. Their problems became public knowledge when Nazario filed for an order of protection against the NFL star who she accused of domestic abuse.
On his part, Fitzgerald described her as a golddigger who only wanted his money.
Larry Fitzgerald Has a Cordial Relationship with His Oldest Child
Going forward, Fitzgerald did not allow the sad fallout with Angela to affect his relationship with their 17-year-old son, Devin. He revealed that he uses an honest approach to raising Devin.
On his part, his son has not disappointed his famous father after showing his social consciousness of things happening around him. The proud father revealed that Devin asked questions when they attended a Black Lives Matter rally.

Larry Fitzgerald Is Still Not Married
The wide receiver is not married as he has not revealed the status of his love life or given any hints to the public. In fact, all that is known about this part of his life has to do with women he dated in the past.
Nonetheless, his career has been quite successful since his breakup with his last known girlfriend, Melissa.
In 2021, the Hall of Famer did not play for the cardinals yet he did not announce his retirement. This led many to consider the 2020 season his last.Away from his playtime, Fitzgerald has taken new roles as he is now an NFL analyst on ESPN.
He made his first appearance in September 2022 on Monday Night Countdown alongside hosts, Suzy Kolber, Steve Young, Robert Griffin III, and Booger McFarland.
Larry Fitzgerald may have enjoyed a successful career in his 17-season stint with the Arizona Cardinals, yet his relationships never led to marriage.
