Brill Garrett who was formerly Brill Aldridge is a professional lawyer and an advocate of reading, whose contributions to education have been very much of a remarkable one for many years. Brill Garret’s life before Jason Garret
As mentioned earlier, Brill Garrett was born Brill Aldridge on December 8, 1965. Together with her brother Jess Aldridge, they were raised by their parents Jeffrey and Judy Aldridge in Illinois where she attended the Central High School in Hinsdale.
Before Jason, Brill Garrett led much of a quiet life. As regards her relationships before her husband, there is no much information obtained.

Brill made the first move
In Princeton University where they both graduated, their paths crossed since freshman year in geology class. Since Brill had a crush on Jason, she started to watch his movements in class and noticed he would leave class earlier than the rest of them. It was not until she approached him to know why he was leaving class earlier, that they spoke for the first time. Before then, they never spoke and she had no idea he was a college football player.
How long did they date before tying the knot?
It was not until about 10 years after they met that Brill Garrett and Jason became husband and wife in 1994 in a private ceremony. They first met in college where they started dating. Upon graduation, Brill went to Ivy League school, Harvard University where she studied law.

They founded the Jason Garret Starfish Charities
As part of measures to give back to society, Brill and Jason have done a notable job through their Jason Garret Starfish Charities which was founded in 1997 with the sole aim of contributing towards the lives of young people who aspire to become sportspersons. The foundation also contributes through Gabe Allen to promoting literacy, especially through hosting a book club and working with teachers to find a suitable means of coming up with the appropriate curriculum, lesson plan, and other guides to help students.

Brill is zealous about literacy
Brill believes in shaping minds from an early age through reading. She has worked alongside different people towards making reading a reality. With the United States former First Lady Lara Bush she hosted the Dallas and Fort Worth Celebration of Reading event, which was formerly headed by late former First Lady Barbara Bush, through the Barbara Bush Foundation for Family Literacy.

All about her husband’s football career
Right from the time he was a young boy, Jason started to play football, and by the time he was a senior in high school, his skills became better – making him win All-League honors as a quarterback and safety. His college career kicked off while in Princeton where again he played quarterback. Professionally, he started as a free agent playing for New Orleans Saints in the 1989-1990 seasons. Subsequently, he played for San Antonio Riders and Ottawa Rough Riders in 1991, Dallas Cowboys 1993-1999, New York Giants 2000-2003, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, and Miami Dolphins in 2004.
In regards to coaching, Garret began the journey in 2005 as a quarterbacks coach for the Miami Dolphins before proceeding to become an offensive coordinator for Dallas Cowboys in 2007. From 2008 to 2010, he served as the assistant head coach and offensive coordinator, before moving to become an interim head coach of the same team in 2010. His journey as a head coach started in 2011 with the Dallas Cowboys and ended in 2019. Currently, he is the offensive coordinator for the New York Giants.
In his football career, he has been adorned with a number of awards of two-times Super Bowl champion PFWA Assistant Coach of the Year (2007), and NFL Coach of the Year (2016).
She married into the family of football players and coaches
It is not only her husband who is involved in football as his father Jim Garret was an assistant coach for the New York Giants, New Orleans Saints, Cleveland Browns, and the head coach of Houston Texas of the World Football League and at Columbia University. His brothers John and Judd Garret played in the World League American Football. John also is a head coach of the Lafayette College football team, Judd works for Dallas Cowboys and Jim Garret III is a teacher and a former football coach.
