Brendan Schaub is an American Stand-up comedian, a podcast host, and a former professional mixed martial artist.
He hosts most of his podcasts and co-hosts one podcast with fellow comedian Theo Von, titled ‘The King and the Sting’.
He is engaged and has two kids with his long-time girlfriend turned fiancé; Joanna Zanella. He once had a relationship with Ronda Rousey who is an American professional wrestler, retired Mixed and Martial Artist, and judoka.

How Brendan Schaub Makes and Spends his Money
Brendan played American football and lettered for lacrosse while at high school in Overland High School. However, before his junior year, he transferred to the University of Colorado to play football full-time where his participation was actually delayed his first season.
Brendan went undrafted in the 2006 NFL Draft but was later signed to the practice squad of the Buffalo Bills. He was released from the team before the start of the regular season and he went on to sign with Utah Blaze of the Arena Football League.
In 2007, Brendan Schaub retired from sports. On returning to Colorado after his retirement, Brendan started to train for boxing and Brazilian jiu-jitsu.

In 2009, Brendan Schaub signed with the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) in order to compete on The Ultimate Fighter. He actually fought for the company for 6 years before he stopped in 2014 and officially retired in 2015.
In his first fight of the show, he fought Demico Rogers and defeated him on the first-round submission where he displayed an ‘Anaconda choke’ which moved him to the quarter-finals.
Schaub got to the quarter-finals and won the show by delivering Knock Out (punch) to Jon Madsen. Schaub went on to defeat Marcus Jones in the first round of the semi-finals with the same Knock-Out.
However, Schaub made his debut to the UFC officially, when he faced and lost via knockouts to Roy Nelson at The Ultimate Fighter; Heavyweights Finale.

Days after losing his fight against Travis Browne on the 6th of December 2014, Brendan’s friend, Callen, and UFC commentator Joe Rogan had a joint podcast where they advised Brendan to retire from mixed martial arts and pursue a career in comedy.
Brendan took this advice and on the 10th of October 2015, he announced on the Joe Rogan Experience show that he had retired from mixed and martial arts.

Brendan launched a solo podcast in December 2016 which he titled ‘Big Brown Breakdown’. This podcast focused on relating to combat sports which basically was Mixed and Martial Arts.
