On 22nd June 2013, the couple walked down the aisle at Schweiter United Methodist Church in Kansas City, Missouri in the presence of their family and friends. After the wedding, the newlyweds had their honeymoon at Puna Cana, Dominican Republic.
Before their wedding, Brett was working as a teacher in a community in Kansas. Nick, on the other hand, was working for the Kansas City Chiefs.
