Caressa Suzzette Madden has gained fame among fans of basketball in general and the NBA as the wife of the former professional basketball player, Delonte West. In spite of the controversies that her husband would come to be involved in, she has remained by his side and has continued to give him her unrelenting support.

Caressa has come to be the one recognized as the wife of the former basketball star, but she is not the first woman in his life. He was once married to Kimberly Awad who was said to be the college sweetheart of West while they were at Saint Joseph’s University. The two got married in 2009, but by 2010, the marriage had already fallen apart and they ended things in a divorce.
For his first marriage, Delonte and Kimberly eloped and got married in Nevada, but even this was not enough to hold the marriage.
Before his first marriage, Delonte was once in another relationship with a girlfriend that ended badly. According to reports, his live-in girlfriend, at the time, Caryn Taylor once went crazy on him and assaulted him. She went crazy against him in 2006 when he tried to end the relationship. In 2020, Caressa Madden’s husband was again in very bad shape. He was living on the streets. Beyond being homeless, he was also addicted to alcohol and drugs. Photos and videos of him walking about started circulating the internet, drawing up support for him including from Darryl Strawberry who revealed he was going to do anything within his power to help him beat addiction after Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban helped get him off the streets.
