Since the passing of retired NFL linebacker Clark Haggans on June 19, 2023, at the age of 46, many people have been curious about his family background. He was born and raised in Torrance, California, in a family of medical practitioners, but he opted to play football instead.
His wife’s name is Alicia Haggans, and he has two children, a son named Damon and a daughter named Alianna. Here’s what we know about his wife, children, and other family members.
Meet Clark Haggans’ Wife And Two Kids
A few sources have identified Clark Haggans’ wife as Alicia Haggans. Information on her is unavailable due to Haggans’s skepticism as he rarely spoke publicly about his family. It is also unknown when, where, or how they met or married.
Moving forward, the former Steelers linebacker has two children: Damon Haggans, a son, and Alianna Haggans, a daughter. There is no information on his children too. As a result, it is unknown when they were born.
Interestingly, Haggans once talked about his children in 2019. He said that since retiring, he has been doing nothing except being a father, traveling between Pittsburgh and Vegas, and spending time with his children and their mother.
The Torrance native went on to say that he was glad he had saved enough money to support his children so they could do what they wanted.

Here Is A Look At The Other Family Members Of The Late NFL Linebacker
Clark Haggans was born on January 10, 1977, in Torrance, California, to Dr. Ollie and Dr. Doris Haggans. It is unknown whether he was his parents’ only child or whether he had siblings.
Dr. Ollie Haggans, his father, was a veterinarian and a former football player at Florida A&M University in Tallahassee. Furthermore, Haggans’ father graduated from the Tuskegee Institute of Veterinary Medicine in 1969 and worked as a research consultant for Biotech Lab as well as the Chief Veterinary Administrator for the Los Angeles Department of Comparative Medicine and Veterinary Medicine. He went into private practice, working at the Seal Beach and Lomita Veterinary Clinics.
Unfortunately, he is late.
Dr. Doris Haggans, the former Steelers linebacker’s mother, is also a veterinarian. She was Moses and Louise Mack’s only child, and she grew up in Washington, D.C. Moses Mack, her father, and Clark Haggans’ maternal grandfather was a prosperous businessman who operated a billiards parlor and the Stage Door, a popular eating and drinking establishment.
Tuskegee University is where she studied veterinary medicine and graduated in 1971. She met Haggans’ father while she was studying there and married him in 1968. They later moved to Southern California and resided in Harbor City, where she co-owned many animal clinics, including those in Seal Beach and Lomita, with Haggans’ father.
The late NFL linebacker and his mother had a good relationship. Despite her hectic schedule, she was always there at his games. For example, she was present when he helped the Steelers win the 2006 Super Bowl over the Seattle Seahawks.
