While he was with the Lakers, Doug was again not regularly featured in most of the club’s game and his name was misspelt on his jersey as ‘Chrisite’

After spending a year with Lakers, Doug was again traded with the New York Knicks in 1994. Again, in his playtime with the Knicks Dough was only used sparingly by the team and, in 1996, Doug got traded to the Toronto Raptors during the midseason.

By the end of the 2000 season, Doug was traded to Sacramento Kings in exchange for Corliss Williamson. As time went by, Dough witnessed the climax of his career achievement while playing for the Kings. It was at that period that he earned the NBA All-defensive first team in 2003 as well as being listed in the NBA All-defensive second team for three years in 2001,2002, and 2004 respectively.

Also, Doug’s skills and efforts greatly improved the club’s ratings as they often advanced to the playoffs in most seasons which is a feat the club struggled to attained for years prior to his joining the team. However, in as much as his presence was positively felt by the club, Doug still traded off to the Orlando Magic in exchange for Cuttino Mobley and Michael Bradley.
