It was on June 28, 1942, that Frank Zane was born which means he is currently 82 years old. He was raised alongside his younger brother in Kingston, Pennsylvania.
Frank’s parents Adam F. Zane and Laura were known as strong protestants in their community and hence known by everyone. As a result, young Frank became a victim of bullies. His fragile body structure also made him their favorite pick.
It was at this time that Frank decided to build his physique. He was part of several sports teams including baseball, football, and basketball, and at the age of 14, he started bodybuilding.
After his high school education, he proceeded to Wilkes University in Pennsylvania where he obtained a bachelor’s degree in mathematics. Thereafter, Frank furthered to California State University for a master’s degree in experimental psychology.

Frank Zane is married to Christine Harris and the pair have remained so for many decades. They were first introduced to each other by one of Zane’s students while attending a bodybuilding event.
Frank and Christine dated for a few years before committing to each other sometime in December 1967. Their wedding ceremony was witnessed by a small circle of friends and family.
Christine just like her husband was a former weightlifter. However, she quit her sporting career and switched to arts after earning the Miss Universe Bikini title in 1970. Christine became clung to her studies and graduated with honors from California State University, Los Angeles. Asides from her Master of Fine Arts degree in painting, graphics, sculpture, photography, and Jewelry, she also earned a master’s degree n clinical psychology.
The couple would be celebrating 56 years of marital bliss come December 2023 as nothing suggests otherwise. At the moment, it’s not known if their relationship produced any children as none has been spotted by the media.
