Born July 30, 1990, Tevin Farmer was raised in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, U.S. He grew up as a street guy in north Philly, a place he refers to as a danger zone. From what we gathered, he has 12 brothers and sisters altogether. Also, he shares a strong bond with his siblings who are very supportive and loving.
Before becoming a boxer, his sisters sold tickets and merchandise. He grew up to be athletic, participating in sports like football and basketball. The boxer revealed his mother used to walk him every day to play football practice.
However, thanks to one of his brothers whom he follows to the gym, he began training.

The former super-featherweight world champion made his professional boxing debut against Oscar Santana on February 10, 2011, at the age of 20. After that, he went on to win 2 consecutive fights.
At the age of 28, Farmer had his first world title fight on August 3, 2018, after a professional fight against Billy Dib for the super-featherweight IBF title. He won the fight via 12 round unanimous decision to become the super-featherweight champion of the world.
He also won one world title at Super Featherweight. Some of his best fights and victories include wins over Arturo Santos Reyes, James Tennyson, Guillaume Francisco Fonseca, Jono Carroll, and Billy Dib.
On January 30, 2020, Tevin Farmer defended his super-featherweight title against fellow American boxer Joseph Diaz Jr. During the fight, Farmer broke his hand and Diaz took advantage of that and outboxed Farmer and which led to him earning the unanimous decision victory.
The Philly boxer would later make his comeback to the ring after a while against Mickey Bey on May 21, 2022.
