Zion Shamaree Mayweather was born on the 28th of March 2001 to Floyd Mayweather Jr. and Josie Harris. He was raised alongside his two siblings Koraun and Jirah Mayweather by their parents who were together between 1995 to 2010 even though they weren’t officially married.
His parent’s relationship finally crashed in 2010 after his mother (Josie Harris) accused his father (Floyd) of abusing her in front of the children. Zion Shamaree Mayweather enjoyed a close relationship with his mother and siblings and it must have been devastating to lose his mother in such cloudy circumstances on the 10th of March 2020. She was said to have been found unresponsive in her driveway.
Josie Harris was pronounced dead by paramedics invited to the scene by police who found her unresponsive in her car. TMZ’s initial report was that there was no evidence that she died of a drug suicide, although it was established that she died of a drug overdose.
