Arnaud is originally from DR Congo but was born in a town in the western region of Paris, Suresnes, France on 20 January 2002 as one of four children.
Although there is limited information about his early life and family, Kalimuendo is an early bird in football as he started playing at the age of 5.
His father, Arthur Kalimuendo is an ardent supporter of his son’s career right from the early days he started up until the present time. This is evident in Arthur being present at many games of his son as well as looks forward to having his son play better and stay much longer at Arnaud’s then club PSG. Arthur also does not believe that the young age of his son should be a barrier to his playing a good match and making it to the top clubs.
He Started His Professional Before He Was 10 Years Old
It was in 2008 at the age of 7 that Kalimuendo started his youth career with a local football club, FC Saint Cloud. In 2012, he left the club for Paris Saint Germain Youth Team.
At the youth team of PSG, Kalimuendo expanded his experience in football by first playing for the France National U-16 team and subsequently U-17. For the different tournaments he played for the France national team, his presence was greatly felt as he contributed immensely to the third place position of the countries U-17 team in 2019 where he scored a total of 9 goals of 12 appearances.
With the team, he became one of the leading strikers. Nonetheless, in 2020, he made his with PSG’s senior team where he made 3 appearances before joining Lens on loan in the 2020-2021 season where he made 28 appearances and scored 7 goals.
Although he extended his PSG contract to 2024, he still plays for Lens on contract and would remain in the club till the end of the 2021 season.
