Busch is an American professional stock car racing driver who has a record of over 706 races run over the period of 21 years long career with 31 wins.  Busch started accompanying his father to the track at the age of six and later competed in kart racing. He competed in dwarf competition winning in the second race at the Las Vegas speedway park.

In 1994, he had his first full year as a driver winning ten races consecutively at ten different tracks. He began driving in 1996 at the age of 18 when his father sold their dwarf equipment and bought a powerful car for the legend series.

Busch has a history of verbally abusing members of his team and media. He revealed during the 2011 NASCAR Championship week that he had been seeing a sports psychologist work on his personal issues. He currently ranks 11th in the 2020 Cup Series table.

The NASCAR Driver Busch has been married a couple of times and has dated quite a few ladies. He met Eva Bryan through a blind date set up by his spotter. Eva graduated from the old dominion and used to work at the first Virginia bank. Before she met Busch she thought he was a veterinarian but funny enough she saw him on TV doing otherwise at a restaurant. They started dating in no time and after a while, they got engaged exactly a year after their first date on July 27, 2005.

The couple got married on July 27, 2006, in Eastville, Virginia. Bryan used to work as the vice president of her husband’s racing company. She also helped her husband to plan and run the events of the Kurt Busch foundation all through the year. Bryan was one of the lower-key wives in the cup series contrary to the noisiness and loudness of her husband and his brother Kyle Busch.

Bryan stood with Busch through bad and good times including during the sprint cup championship in 2004 and also during a six-month feud with his brother just after the all-star race in 2007. Their marriage, unfortunately, ended in divorce in February 2011 after three years of marriage without a child. The couple announced their divorce just after footage of Kurt kissing another woman was revealed.

PATRICIA DRISCOLL

A notable relationship he had was with Patricia Driscoll. Busch met her when they were attending a function at Walter reed medical center in 2011. The two had something in common which was working with veterans so they began dating almost immediately. Driscoll began working with the armed forces foundation in 2003 and has worked as the executive director and the president of the AFF. The AFF is a non-profit foundation created to promote the welfare and quality of life of the military community with special emphasis on military families.

Unfortunately, the relationship between the couple lasted for just a few years. It was alleged that he assaulted Driscoll in September 2014. Busch was the first driver to be suspended for domestic violence allegations under NASCAR’s personal conduct policy. In January 2015, Busch faced Driscoll in court after she had filed for a protective order that Busch had assaulted her few months before that time. The charges against Busch made headlines in no time.

Busch later revealed an incident that happened while they were in El Paso, Texas. He claimed Driscoll left their hotel room in camouflage and boots that night and later she returned wearing a trench coat which she wore an evening gown with stains of blood. Driscoll never verified this claim but it was said that her grandfather and her father were spies who worked for U.S Customs, investigating illegal drug activities.

Driscoll was later found guilty of two counts of wire fraud and tax evasion and one count of first-degree fraud. It was reported that she stole almost $1 million while she was working at the AFF. She was sentenced to one year and a day in prison and also ordered to serve 36 months of supervised release, a period of home confinement, and 360 hours of community service. She was also asked to pay $154,289 in restitution and $81,779 in money judgment forfeiture.

The American racing driver moved on with his life and started dating after a while.

Ashley Van Metre is a professional polo player and model who met Busch in October 2014 through her sister who was also his friend. They dated for some time before Busch announced their engagement on August 26, 2015. The lovers eventually married and she became Kurt Busch’s wife on January 7, 2017, with about 40 people in attendance. They hosted their guests in Palm Beach, Florida one week after the wedding. During the reception, there was a surprise performance by Steven Tyler which was the most interesting part of the reception.

MRS. Busch has a swimwear line named monarch reign and has collaborated with Enrique Sanchez.  She makes all kinds of lovely swimwear for women and the company has been gaining some traction. Aside from that she is also a model and has been affiliated with Wilhelmina models and modeled with famous brands like Ralph Lauren.
