The football player’s full name is Emmit Dewayne Gooden. He was born on the 2nd of February 1997 in Brownsville, Tennessee where he was also brought up and had his early education.

While no information is available about his father, it is known that he was raised by his mother, Sharon Green who revealed that when he was growing up, he was referred to by many as a church boy because he had to  for service every Sunday.

He attended Haywood High school in Tennessee and Independence Community College in Arkansas and also the University of Tennessee where he played professional football. He first committed to Tennessee for about 10 weeks in 2014 before he left them for Mississippi State and wound up requiring a detour to college.

In 2020, just when his career was believed by many to be heading for the stars thanks to the Vols program, the footballer got caught up in a domestic abuse case and was arrested and accused of hitting his girlfriend on the head with a glass candlestick during an argument, she sustained injuries as a result and had to get stitches to close the wound she got just above her brow.

He pleaded guilty to domestic assault case levelled against him, a Class A misdemeanour, in connection to his arrest that led to his dismissal from the Vols program, marking a rather shocking end to his young career that had so many promises.

He received a judicial diversion and must pay court costs. As the court orders, he must attend anger management and have no more altercations with the victim. He is also required by the court to adhere to a probation period of 11 months and 29 days and if he behaves properly and completes his probation, the guilty plea will be expunged from his record.

He was shown the way out Jeremy Pruitt immediately after his arrest, marking his end on the Tennesse Program.

Like most other professional athletes, the ‘Last Chance U’ star grew up playing football. However, his version was known as the “kill-a-man”. This is what made him into an aggressive player as the game usually has 11 players try to tackle a single player.
