25-year-old Alondes Williams played college basketball for quite a couple of teams including Triton Trojans and Wake Forest Demon Deacons. Often described as a strong physical guard with excellent court vision and willingness to share the ball, Alondes currently has a two-way contract with the Brooklyn Nets of the National Basketball Association.
The Wake Forest Alum was recruited by Coach Steve Forbes and his staff via Zoom during the Coronavirus pandemic. Apparently, Alondes Williams is not the only athlete in his family. His younger brother, Brionne Williams is a Redshirt freshman at Triton college.

1. Alondes Williams was Born and Raised in Milwaukee
Born June 13, 1999, Alondes Williams comes from a relatively small family of four. His parents, Louis Williams and Lastasia Malone raised him and his only brother, Brionne in Milwaukee. Although it is not certain if he has other siblings, Alondes once shared a picture of himself and Brionne on Instagram with a third person which he referred to as his sister.
He attended Riverside High School in Milwaukee where he played basketball. He also played in a junior college program while attending Triton College in Illinois. Before he focused on his basketball career, he earned a degree in communication at Wake Forest.
2. The 25-year-old Basketball Player Started Playing Basketball in Fifth Grade
Alondes was reportedly coached by Tyrone Lewis from his fifth grade through high school. He averaged 12.3 points per game as a senior and was named the First Team-All-conference.
By the time he was a freshman at Triton College, the Milwaukee native averaged 13.8 points and 6.3 rebounds per game. Before his sophomore season, he helped his team win the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) Division II title, having scored 22 points with seven rebounds in the title game.
The basketball player then averaged 17 points, 7.7 rebounds, and 5.3 assists per game during his sophomore season. In his two years at Triton, he had a total of 1,059 points and 15.4 per game. However, he was later transferred to Oklahoma for the remainder of his junior season.
While at Oklahoma, Williams averaged 6.7 points and 2.8 rebounds per game. He made history when he transferred to Wake Forest and posted the second triple-double with 16 points, 14 rebounds, and 10 assists in a 79-53win against USC Upstate.
Alondes Williams scored a career-high 36 points in a 77-70 victory over VMI. His performance during the game earned him the title of the ACC Player of the Year. Aside from that honor, he has previously earned First Team All-North Central Community College Conference (N4C) accolades.
During the 2012-22 season, Williams became the first Demon Deacon to win the ACC Player of the Year. He also earned national recognition from the US Basketball Writers Association as well as the National Association of Basketball Coaches.
He was the second player in the program history to ever rank within the top 15 in both single-season points and assists.

According to reports, Williams wasn’t highly recruited mainly because his grades were not good.
