Alycia Parks is an American tennis player whose career is just setting up. Recent WTA rankings put her at 221 in singles and 328 in doubles. She made her first appearance on the WTA Tour main draw at the 2021 MUSC Health Open in Charleston, South Carolina after gaining qualification as an alternate. Alycia Parks was born on the 31st December 2000 in Atlanta, Georgia, the United States to Erica and Michael Parks. The 23 year-old was raised as the youngest daughter of her parents’ two children. Her older sister’s name is Mikayla.

The Georgia-born tennis player grabbed the media’s attention in early November 2019 after having a physical confrontation with Canadian Katherine Sebov in Henderson, Nevada. According to reports, the Canadian aggressively squeezed Parks’ right thumb during a handshake at the net. And she reacted as they walked off the court.
This resulted in a heated argument between the two. And Sebov was said to have pushed Parks twice before officials intervened.
Parks revealed in a phone interview that the Canadian grabbed her hand and threw her arm back at her. To her, it was aggressive, and she wasn’t ready to let it pass.
