Brad Castleberry Biography
The bodybuilder whose full name is Bradley Scott Castleberry was born on the 10th of June, 1985 in San Diego, California. As a child, Brad had always shown an inclination for sports and athletics and when he was fifteen, he joined a gym. Four years later he participated in his first bodybuilding competition.
More competitions followed suit and in a short while he participated in the highly esteemed Muscle Mania where he took the first position and won his pro card. Brad Castleberry participated in some other competitions after going pro but the stress of bodybuilding took its toll on him and he decided to quit that.
For a person who loves sports, competing was second nature to him and when he could no longer body build he took to playing football. Brad Castleberry had a fairly successful career playing the game and he was at it for two years before choosing to hang his boots.
Following his exit from football, Brad Castleberry went back to the gym and this time decided to focus on powerlifting. This is when the stories of his fraudulence started to circulate.
There have been stories on his progress over the years that seem not to add up and also his attempts at refuting these stories have fallen flat because the facts of his fake weightlifting can clearly be seen in his videos coupled with his refusal to partake in weight or powerlifting competitions.
Did he fake his weight?
The only way a fake copy of a thing is if there is an original version of it and this applies to weights. Fake copies of weights are often used in movies and in photoshoots. But when they are used outside of spaces where such an illusion is expected it becomes fraudulent to use these fake weights.
An example of this situation is in the gym while on camera and telling people you are actually lifting a certain weight class when you are not. Brad Castleberry has been accused of doing this.
Castleberry who posts videos online of himself working out has claimed to lift 675 pounds and for gym-goers and other weight lifters, it is clear he is allegedly lying, despite making a show of looking like he is lifting 675 pounds.
He has been called out a number of times on this and Castleberry defended himself saying that the gym he works out at would not allow such fraudulent behavior. But this has not stopped the speculations, especially as the weights he is lifting are huge enough to break world records but he does not participate in competitive weight or powerlifting.
