1. She lost her parents in a tornado
Brenda’s parents are said by their daughter to be loving and extraordinary people. They had little income but were contented and happy for they loved each other so dearly. Brenda’s father used to work for a rich farm owner; he would wake up very early every morning to tend to the farm and everything in it while her mother was a seamstress and stay-at-home mom who cared for Brenda and her only sister. She would cook, clean, and bake happily.
Brenda learned how to sew from her mom and stated that she is grateful that she had a dad who showed her value and self-worth. Sadly in 1996, after retiring to Arkansas, her parents were killed during a tornado that struck the town and she received a phone call informing her of the disaster. she was devastated and her world came crumbling down.
2. Brenda worked as a marine
After she completed high school, Brenda didn’t want to burden her parents with tuition payments so she enlisted in the Marines and shipped off to boot camp. That became her first career calling.
3. Kurt Warner is not her first husband
Before she met Kurt, Brenda was initially married to a man known as Neil. The two met while she was in the Marine, where he also worked. They got married and had two children together; Zachary and Jessie. Unfortunately, the marriage did not last a long time as she later found out he was cheating on her. She took her children and moved back to her mother’s house. That became the end of the union.
4. Her first son Zachary Taylor Warner had an accident as a child
Brenda’s first son, Zachary Taylor Warner got involved in a life-altering accident when he was a child after Neil accidentally dropped him while giving him a bath. The doctor who attended to little Zack told his parents that he would never sit up again, but today he walks upright normally even though he suffers from brain damage and blindness.
5. Brenda Warner has a strong relationship with God
Brenda comes from a Christian home and background. She has always been taught to love the Lord and trust him in everything. This would prove to be her source of strength in trying times.
Thanks to her upbringing, Brenda has a good relationship with God and she was labeled the “Jesus Freak” in high school even though that was not a problem for her. When her son Zachary was sick she turned to God for a miracle and he did give her a miracle (he walked against all odds).
Her faith was tested when she lost her parents and Brenda was angry at God. She blamed him for not saving them for she knows if he wanted to, he would.

After she left her first husband, Brenda was hurt and felt betrayed so she put all her energy into caring for her children. When her mother saw that she was giving up on love, she took her to a country Western bar where she met Kurt. The pair fell in love almost instantly.
Before long, they started dating and they have been together ever since with over 20 years of marriage. They tied the knot in 1997. Kurt, who is a football Hall-of-Famer has since adopted her children from her first marriage.
7. She is a mother of 7 Kids
Brenda has seven children two from her first marriage: Zachary and Jesse and five with her second husband though not much has been revealed about them, they are said to be a tight-knit loving, and supportive family.
8. Brenda is a Certified Nurse
After she left her first husband Neil, she needed to put her life together so she decided to go to nursing school to enable her to take care of Zack better. She graduated and is a certified nurse.
She worked as a registered nurse in long-term care for two years and then worked in an obstetrics-gynecology practice. She misses working as a nurse but also remembers how difficult it was to balance work and family.
9. Brenda and her husband have established a living community
Treasure house is a Christian-based supportive living community for young adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities, with its first location planned for the Phoenix area. This vision was inspired by Brenda’s son Zachary who lives in the community too.
10. She is a welder
When she was 50, Brenda Warner who is now 57 years old, took on a hobby, welding, and seems to be pretty good at it. she said she has always been fascinated by metals and decided to give it a try. She has made different arts out of metals and sold them using the money generated from it to fund the community where her son Zachary lives.
