Ramon was born on August 9, 1986. He is a professional boxer and is also known for being the older brother of Canelo Alvarez.
He started his professional career in 2008 and recorded a loss against Augustin Marquez. Yet, he pushed through and became a force to reckon with that in no distant time, the 38 year-old won the WBC United States (USNBC) Silver Welterweight Title in 2013.

Rigoberto Alvarez
Also famed as “El Español”, Rigoberto is the older brother (born January 20, 1978) of Canelo and also a former professional boxer. He had an active boxing career from 2000 to 2011.
His career was most successful as he recorded a total of 31 fights, 27 wins, and only 4 losses. Also, the 5 ft 11 in tall Mexican became a WBC FECARBOX super middleweight and interim WBA light middleweight champion.
