The softball player was born on May 13, 1992, in Saugerties, New York. She was born to Angel and Janelle Castro and was raised alongside her only sibling, a brother named Andre. Charlise attended Kingston High School, where she served as a member and captain of the school’s softball team. Her athletic abilities were spectacular and marked her as a veritable talent capable of going pro. She was also a brilliant student who was loved by all her teachers.

Charlise Castro went on to the University of Albany, where she set out to study psychology but she eventually changed her course of study to major in communications.
