Clark Cromwell Haggans, also known as Clark Haggans, was a retired professional American football linebacker. He passed away on June 19, 2023, at the age of 46.

Before his death, Haggans was a defensive end at Colorado State University and was inducted into the Colorado State University Athletics Hall of Fame in 2015. He was picked in the fifth round of the 2000 NFL Draft by the Pittsburgh Steelers, and he helped them win the Super Bowl in 2006. After that, he spent time with the Arizona Cardinals and the San Francisco 49ers until retiring in 2013.

He was survived by two children, Damon and Alianna.

Clark Haggans Died At The Age Of 46

Haggans was born on January 10, 1977, in Torrance, California, and died on June 19, 2023, at the age of 46.

He attended Palos Verdes Peninsula High School in Rollin Hills Estate, Los Angeles, where he participated in football, basketball, and track. He attended Colorado State University after high school, where he majored in art and played collegiate football as a defensive end.

He was picked in the fifth round of the 2000 NFL Draft by the Pittsburgh Steelers. He contributed to the Steelers’ 21-10 Super Bowl victory over the Seattle Seahawks in 2006. Before his retirement in 2013, he also played for the San Francisco 49ers and the Arizona Cardinals.

He was honored with a spot in the Colorado State University Athletics Hall of Fame in 2015.

What Led To His Death?

When Clark Haggans passed away on June 19, 2023, many people are left in the dark about what had led to the death of the former NFL linebacker.

His family has not yet released a statement regarding the likely cause of his passing as of the time of this writing. Furthermore, there is no information available to suggest that he was ill before his sad demise.
