Dejan Kovacevic is a German basketball player who plays in the German basketball league Basketball Bundesliga. He may not be as popular as his counterparts from Canada and America but the truth of his skill as a player cannot be denied. Although he is still considerably young, the Bosnian-German player has been playing since 2015, but his move to the NBA may still be in doubt.

The Basketball star Dejan Kovacevic is of Bosnian and German descent as he is mostly referred to as the Bosnian-German Dejan Kovacevic. Kovacevic was born in the city of Munich two days after Christmas on the 27th of December in 1996.

Although Dejan Kovacevic is a rising star in the game of basketball, he has found a way to keep certain aspects of his life from the spotlight, as a result of this there is no information on his family.
Kovacevic’s career as a professional basketball player began in 2015 when he was nineteen. Basketball Bundesliga is the highest-ranking league for professional basketball clubs in Germany, and his entry into this league was made possible by him becoming a part of the team, Bayern Munich.

Dejan Kovacevic played for Bayern for two years before he moved to s.Oliver Wurzburg. In an interview, he stated that the reason for his move to Wurzburg was because he did not feel like he fit at Bayern. He described Bayern as having the best players in the league who were seasoned 25 to 30-year olds; Kovacevic left the team to grow into becoming a much better player, hoping to make a return to the team as a much better player. But he did not stay at Wurzburg for a long time either, as he left the club, a year after in 2018 to join Lowen Braunschweig, another Bundesliga team.

His exit from Wurzburg happened early in 2018 and by May of that year, he was already playing with Braunschweig. Since joining his current team Dejan Kovacevic has had the opportunity to play his former team Bayern. In the course of changing teams, he has had to migrate from city to city, leaving Bayern Munich was particularly hard for him, as the city is his birthplace and where he was raised but having had to move twice, he is more averse to the idea of switching cities. Currently, he plays with HARKO Merlins Crailsheim, a team he has signed a one year contract with.

Dejan Kovacevic had always played the game of basketball; his origins in the game can be traced to when he played as an amateur player for the junior arm of Bayern Munich’s team and some other smaller teams.
