The fitness junky is famous as Devin Physique but it was actually as Devin Zimmerman that he was born on June 13, 1990, in Chino Hills, California. He was brought up by a single mother together with his two sisters.
As a young kid growing up, Devin was the smallest in his class, and he did not improve in size even after he went to high school.
One day, he was told by a female friend that he looked sickly and skinny and because of that, he pushed himself into improving his body build and that led him to become a fitness expert so as to conquer the low self-esteem he had grown with.
At first, he started with normal sports including cross-country running but they did not improve him very well and so he decided to go with bodybuilding.
As soon as he graduated from college, he moved back to his hometown of Chino Hills where he combined bodybuilding and two jobs in order to get ends to meet.
In 2012, he started bodybuilding full time and he also started his social media pages including Instagram which he has now built to close to 2 million followers.

Devin Physique has continuously come up with what has come to be known as the Devin Physique fitness challenge in which people can enter and following the transformation of their bodies in 30 days will win a specified amount.
He used to be sponsored by Shredz, but in 2016, he was accused of a scam which was as a result of tampering with his pictures in order to give his body a better build and shape.
Although he came out and apologized for the offense and claimed that everyone else was doing the same thing, he was still dropped.
In addition to that, he was also accused of selling workout plans and diets created by his assistant, Kelly Willet with claims that he came up with it himself.
The scam became public after some people discovered he was defrauding his customers by selling subpar products for $200. He sold millions of dollars in meal and training plans for his own personal fitness regimen.
Devin Physique was also accused of photoshopping his Instagram and Twitter photos to make them appear more ripped.
He was subsequently fired by the CEO of Shredz.
