Florian Thauvin is a 32-year-old French international soccer star who began his club football career with various clubs in France before a brief stint with Newcastle United of EPL in 2015. He currently plays first-division football in Mexico with Liga MX side Tigres UANL. Though his marital status is unclear, he is in a relationship with the French model, Charlotte Pirroni, and shares a son, Alessio.

Thauvin unlike most of his contemporaries didn’t play at any of his hometown clubs in Orleans, instead, he joined a football academy in another town. He was at the Chateauroux Academy where he trains regularly, only going home on weekends. This was the sacrifice he made to build his career.
Just as they say success comes after sacrifice, Thauvin became a key asset for a couple of youth teams after developing himself at the Chateauroux Academy.
2. LOSC Lille Was The First Club To Sign The Winger For A Fee
Although his first professional contract was with Corsican club Bastia in July 2011, Thauvin got a first official signing with Ligue 1 club Lille in January 2013. The club signed the winger for four and a half years for a reported fee of €3.5 Million.
As part of the contract, he was loaned back to Bastia for 6 months. He was awarded the Ligue 1 Young Player of the Year for a stellar performance at the end of the 2012/13 season.

Thauvin didn’t play any single game for Lille before Marseille signed him in September 2013. The development followed weeks of long negotiation before Marseille landed the winger.
