1. Hakim Ziyech’s Career Began in Reaal Dronten
While growing up, Ziyech played for the youth academy of Reaal Dronten and ASV Dronten before moving to Heerenveen academy.
On August 18, 2014, the footballer signed a three-year contract and joined Twente. While he was there, he soon became the captain of the club but was later stripped of the captaincy after he made disrespectful comments against the club.
After a stellar time at Twente, he signed for Ajax on a five-deal, with a reported transfer of €11m. He soon scored his first goal for Ajax in a 5-0 win over Willem II.
He joined Chelsea on 14 February 2020 for a transfer fee of about €40 million. The contract was later announced by Chelsea to be a five-year contract.
