Helmut Strebl was born to his parents on November 6, 1988, which means he’s currently 56 years old. The bodybuilder grew up in Austria with other members of his family whose identities are elusive to the media.
Before Helmut gained recognition as the ‘world’s most shredded man” who is still alive, he was only another skinny child who was bullied because of his small body. As a result, he started training to become stronger and used 2 filled bottled water as his dumbells.
He kept training with the 5 kg bottled water until the age of 16 when he began going to the local gym. It was no longer about self-defense but rather a push to become a fitness icon.

When Helmut is up for a competition, his body fat is reportedly only 2% and during off seasons, it doesn’t exceed 6%; a feat that most bodybuilders are unable to achieve even with the help of steroids.
Notably, Helmut is a discipline bodybuilder. He trains for 6 days a week and the durations are determined by his instincts. According to him, the secret is listening to your body and giving it whatever it needs. However, he sticks to his training schedules when preparing for competition and works on specific body parts.
