James Grage is one of those people whose names would always get mentioned when it comes to fitness. He is a bodybuilder and fitness expert whose experience has spanned decades. At the start of his career as a bodybuilder, he got involved in a tragic accident that made it hard for him to walk. However, he trained himself out of it. Beyond fitness training, Grage also runs a fitness nutrition brand.

James Grage Biography

It was on November 11, 1979, that James Grage was born in the United States, which is also where he was raised. He grew up in an environment that cared about the health of the body especially his mother who emphasized on good nutrition.

He is known to have grown up with both his parents in his life although it is not clear if he has a sibling. For his education, he went to school but the level that he reached has not been disclosed.

At the age of 24, the bodybuilder was on his way for an interview in San Jose in what was one of his only possessions at the time, his Porsche 911. He saw a pheasant on the road. He horned at it to give way but instead, it charged towards the car which made hi to swerve to the other lane. Unfortunately, he was rammed into by a fast coming truck.

The collision disintegrated his car into three parts and he was found in a ditch 95 feet away. It would take him months to finally get himself back in shape with the help of workout. He rejected a wheelchair and instead chose to walk his way slowly to recovery which later paid off.

He made use of strength training and regular stretching to get back to an unbelievable shape six months after the deadly crash.

James Grage later became a fitness trainer and has also worked for Weider Publications until 2009 when he called it quits. More so, he has also taken part in a number of bodybuilding competitions since 2014 and has won the NPC Southern States among other things. After he left Weider Publications, Grage founded his company BPI Sports which was subsequently followed by other brands including MAGE Sports, EXT Sports, Pro-Nutra, Brain Pharma, as well as the Jay Cutler Elite Series.

James Grage is a married man. He got married to his wife, ‎Anni Grage who also works in the fitness industry. The two first met at a business conference and after dating for some time, they finally tied the knot. The couple is blessed with two children – Junior James and Minka Grage and is living in Hollywood Beach, FL.
