Jasmine Lister is a professional basketball player cum assistant coach. She has been described as an intelligent, determined and personable individual with a young bright mind in the basketball game. While she is still considerably young, she has achieved quite a lot in her career.

Jasmine Lister Biography and Career

Jasmine and her twin sister, Cinnamon Lister who is also a pro basketball player overseas were born on the 12th of May 1992. She also has another sister, Kayla and a brother Jordan. While her mother, Happi is a paralegal, her father Devland Lister is a former children’s pastor.

Jasmine’s childhood dream was to become a medical doctor but she soon chose sports when she realized where her strength was.

The beautiful athlete started playing basketball in high school. During her time in Santiago High School, Jasmine won several titles, awards, and honors. Among them are: 2010 Female Athlete of the Year, Principal’s Award, won the Big 8 League and led her school to their first CIF-SS Division IAA Championship.

Jasmine proceeded to Vanderbilt University to earn her degree in Women and Gender Studies graduating in 2014.

While in College, Jasmine never missed a game and played more minutes than anybody has ever done in the history of the school (4,626). She ‘smashed’ every record that has been set becoming a pacesetter. She had an outstanding Junior and Senior year in her studies and sports.

During her first game for Vanderbilt, she scored 13 points with 6 rebounds.

Some of her achievements in college include All-SEC honors and mentions for all of her four years, led her team in scoring, assists and minutes played, leading her team four consecutive times to the NCAA Tournaments. She earned a WBCA All-American Honourable mention.

In her junior year, she suffered a torn labrum in her left shoulder but never missed a game.

She played as the starting point guard in every (129) game of her college playing career.

Jasmine signed a training camp contract with WNBA Seattle Storm in 2014. After making it to the final cut, she was released two days before the season opened.

Moreover, some of her coaches have said about her that she is hardworking and has more potential in the coaching field. Jasmine then received an offer as a graduate assistant with the University of Connecticut Women’s Basketball team which she accepted and thus began her career in the coaching field.

In 2015, Jasmine signed with Angeles Sparks and played seven games in the season. She signed a training camp contract with the same team in 2016, she made it to the final cut but returned to Uconn after.

Jasmine also proceeded to earn a Master’s Degree in Sports Management at the University of Connecticut.

Jasmine worked as an assistant coach in Washington and then Chicago before returning to UConn as an assistant coach.

Dating and Boyfriend

Jasmine is one pretty lady no doubt. She constantly sends tongue wagging by sharing ‘hot’ pictures of herself and sometimes twin sister on social media. Ironically, she has not shared any information or pictures about her dating life so it’s unclear if she is in a relationship.
