The wrestler hails from the city of Stacy, in Minnesota, the United States of America. Although there is no record of his exact date of birth, a thorough investigation showed he was born in the early 1960s.
He had his high school education in one of the schools in his hometown of Stacy. During his senior high school days, he was an arm wrestler. This means that he already knew what he wanted to become from a young age.
Later on in life, Dabe took arm-wrestling seriously and started going to competitions. There was a time an injury almost forced him out of the sport barely than he had started. After being absent from the sport for so many years, he returned, and this time around he means business.

1. Tests Were Conducted To Discover Why His Arms Were Huge
When Dabe was born, his arms were unlike any that series of tests were conducted to unravel the mystery behind his large arms. So, the University of Minnesota ran the tests, looking for signs of gigantism and elephantiasis. However, the results showed it wasn’t the case.
He was just born with oversized limbs.
2. The Circumference Of His Forearms Measures 19 Inches (49cm)
The width of the arm wrestler’s forearms is 19 inches (49cm). As a result of this, he can carry or hold a basketball in each hand. This is why he has been described by the media as the man with ‘monster forearms’.
3. He was Given A Nickname In High School
While in high school Dabe must have impressed his high school mates and fans while competing in arm wrestling. So, they nicknamed him ‘Popeye’. It is not surprising that he earned the name considering the fact that his forearms are intimidating.
4. Popped His Right Arm In 1986
The Minnesota-based arm wrestler started an incredible journey in the sport, but an injury almost kept him out of it. He burst his right arm during a competition in 1986. Unfortunately, this made him quit the sport early than he had started.
5. He Made A Come Back To The Sport In 2012
After prematurely quitting arm wrestling in 1986, he returned to it after a 26-year hiatus. He took the decision to start competing on a serious level, this time around with his left arm since the right is not in good shape. It was Josh Handelland’s visit to Minnesota that made to take the decision.
Dabe went on to compete at the highest level of arm wrestling at the World Armwrestling League (WAL) circuit. He didn’t just get there by chance or luck, he worked his way, by becoming State Champion of Minnesota. This gave him the ticket to WAL.

The arm wrestler is happily married. He tied the knots with Gina Dabe. Though information regarding the date of the wedding is hidden, it seems the two have been married for a long time.
According to reports, the couple has three children.
7. Gina Supports Him All The Time
When a man smiles all the time, there is a woman behind that happy face. Jeff Dabe is lucky to have a wife who doesn’t fall short when it to providing support. She always encourages him to regardless of what he does.
