John Gotti III’s Parents are John Angelo Gotti and Kimberly Albanese. He has five siblings including Frank Gotti, Nicolette, and Gianna. He is the grandson of the infamous mobster and head of the Gambino crime family, John Gotti. John Angelo Gotti
John Gotti III’s father is one of the four children John Gotti shared with his wife, Vitoria DiGiorgio. After failing to start a trucking business, he joined the Gambino crime family on Christmas Eve in 1988.
Often described by media outlets as one who was thrust into the spotlight, John A. Gotti, or Junior, agreed to plead guilty to six charges of Federal racketeering and false information. While his father, was sentenced to life in imprisonment, John Gotti Jr. was reportedly sentenced to six years and five months in prison and fined $1 million on On September 4, 1999.
When he got indicted, his mother, who was not aware of his involvement in the Mafia, blamed his father for running his life and threatened to leave him unless he allows John Jr to leave the mob.
According to reports, Gotti Jr. claimed he left the Gambino family. Far from his family’s hideous crimes, Gotti III’s father is an author. His book, Shadow of my father was published in 2015.
Following the release of his book, several producers showed interest in producing a movie about his life. The movie was later produced by Fiore Films and it was released on June 15, 2018, with the title Gotti: In the Shadow of My Father. The lead role was played by Spencer Lofranco while Gotti Jr.’s father’s character was portrayed by John Travolta.
In addition to running legitimate businesses, Gotti Jr has reportedly invested in his son’s dreams. Gotti III once revealed his father has been one of his biggest supporters. He currently serves as his son’s manager as well.
Kimberly Albanese
John Gotti III’s mother, Kimberly Albanese is the daughter of the Gambino crime family mobster, Phillip Albanese. She is known to have raised six children with her husband in Oyster Bay Cove on Long Island’s North Shore.
He Has Five Siblings
Following his parents’ wedding in 1990, John and his five siblings were born. Although the family is a famous one, the MMA fighter and his siblings have stayed away from the public.
His siblings include Frank, Nicolette, and Gianna. The siblings have been able to keep a distance from members of the Gambino family as well as the Gotti family.

John Gotti III’s Grandfather Gangster, John Gotti
John Gotti III’s grandfather, John Joseph Gotti Jr was one of the 20th century’s most notorious gangsters. He was the boss of the New York-based Gambino crime family. At the early age of 12, John Gotti was already involved in gangs and was also associated with the Fulton-Rockaway Boys gang, which was an affiliate of the mafia.
In 1977, he became the captain and soon rose to several ranks. In 1985, he ordered the murder of a crime boss, Paul Castellano, and that made him the boss of America’s most powerful crime syndicate at that time.
Also known as “The Dapper Don” and “Teflon Don” by the media, Gotti III’s grandfather was eventually charged with racketeering, murder, illegal gambling, loan sharking, bribery, obstruction of justice, and tax evasion in 1992. With that, he was sentenced to life imprisonment. During his reign as the head of the Gambino crime family, the family allegedly made over $500 million from illegal activities.
While in prison, the mobster was diagnosed with throat cancer and was sent to the United States Medical Center for Federal Prisoners in Springfield, Missouri, for surgery. Despite the fact that the tumor was removed, his health condition deteriorated with time and he died on June 10, 2002, at the age of 61.

- Victoria DiGiorgio– John Gotti’s wife and the MMA fighter’s grandmother.
- Victoria Gotti– Gotti III’s aunt, Victoria is a reality TV star and also a writer. She used to work at the New York Post and also the Fox Television Network.
- Peter Gotti- He was the oldest brother of Gotti III’s grandfather and also the capo of the family. He worked for the New York City Department of Sanitation as a sanitation worker but was forced to retire after he suffered an injury involving a garbage truck. He later took over as the head of the Gambino crime family after his brother went to prison. He died while incarcerated at the federal medical center in Butner on February 26, 2021.
- Richard Gotti- Also known as the capo for the Gambino family, Richard used to work as a groundskeeper at Yankee Stadium before joining the family business. Just like his siblings, Richard was indicted in 2002 on racketeering and extortion charges and convicted a year later on extortion and money laundering. He was sentenced to 16 years in federal prison but was released in 2005.
- Gene Gotti- Gene was also a member of the Gambino family. He was convicted in 1973 for illegal possession of a firearm and was sentenced to 18 months in prison. After his release, he was later convicted of running a heroin distribution ring and was sentenced to 50 years in prison with a fine.
- John Gotti Agnello– He is the son of Victoria Gotti. He became famous after he appeared on his family’s reality TV show Growing Up Gotti alongside his mother and her brothers.
