Kai Kara France is the youngest of 5 children born to his parents. He was born on March 26, 1993, and he’s 32 years old at the moment. From established records, he was born he was raised in New Zealand, Auckland and his ancestry runs through Maori.
2. Kai Kara France Developed a Passion For Combat Sports at an Early Age
Compared to MMA fighters like Billy Quarantillo and, Anthony Hernandez, Kara France also got into combat sports at 10. He recalled that one of his dad’s friends took him to the kid’s classes and he started training with them. However, he left BJJ after two years as he was constantly bullied for his tiny body frame.

According to him, in his first year in high school when he was about 12 or 13 years old, he was often bullied by his mates. This was because he was the smallest in his class and was seen as a victim.
He also stated that he had to stop going to school for about a week and his mother even suggested that he didn’t need to return when she saw his bruises. However, he decided to get into martial arts to build his body and also earn honor and respect. Following Kara France’s graduation from high school, he proceeded to the university but stopped halfway to focus on fighting. He revealed that even though all his 4 siblings are graduates, he understood that schooling wasn’t his calling and had to do what he was really passionate about.
He got enrolled at a gym and was later awarded a scholarship to Tiger Muay Thai. He moved to Phuket, Thailand for his professional training and thereafter returned to Auckland, New Zealand where he began his professional MMA Career.
