The 77-year-old former NBA star, Kareem Abdul Jabbar’s children are five in number. They include 3 sons, Kareem Abdul Jabbar Jr., Amir Abdul Jabbar, and Adam Abdul-Jabbar, and 2 daughters, Habiba Abdul-Jabbar and Sultana Abdul-Jabbar. As the story goes, the pair met in the late 60s when Kareem was a senior at UCLA. They soon became friends and later started a relationship that saw his then-girlfriend convert to Islam thereby changing her birthname Janice Brown to Habiba. As for her education, she graduated from Oberlin College with a Bachelor of Arts degree and has since explored several fields in the entertainment industry including being a writer, dramatist, director, social justice activist, and most recently a producer of the drama series, Gold Rush.

While not so much is known about her, we garnered that she previously worked as an administrative assistant at the Children Institute Inc. from 2009 to 2014 and later worked as an executive assistant for two years at the Children’s Defense Fund. Amir Abdul as stated already is a product of his father’s relationship with Cheryl Piston. Information about his early life and family background has not been disclosed. As such it’s difficult to assert his exact date of birth.
Amir is a graduate of the University of California’s School of Medicine in San Francisco. He currently pursues a career in the medical line and works as an orthopedic surgeon in Issaquah, Washington, and is affiliated with Swedish Issaquah Hospital. He was also useful when his father was diagnosed with leukemia.
5. Adam Abdul Jabbar

The fifth child of the legendary NBA star is Adam Abdul-Jabbar. The 33 years old was birthed by Kareem’s second girlfriend, Julie Olds. Just like the relationship between his parents, not so much is known about Adam’s personal and professional life.
Asides from his father’s personality, he only made it to the news following issues with the law. According to reports, Adams was sentenced to 6 months in jail in 2021 for stabbing his neighbor with a hunting knife during an argument over trash cans. Since then, he has rather maintained a relatively private life.
