He attended Stevenson High School in Lincolnshire, Illinois where he became the school’s all-time leading rusher for football as he graduated in 1997.
Next, he proceeded almost immediately to Princeton University to study English. While he was there, Brandt was privileged to serve as his Beta Theta Pi Fraternity’s President and also a three-year starter at running back and kick returner.
