Leandro Paredes started his career in football at the age of eight at Boca Juniors in 2002. Years after playing professionally for Boca Juniors, he became a defensive midfielder.
In 2014, he joined Italian Serie A outfit, Chievo Verona, for the rest of the 2013-14 season. Roma later agreed to sign him from Boca Juniors on loan with a reported pre-set price of €4.5 million but the club ran out of non-EU registration quota for international transfer.
