His death
On August 22, 2017, the world woke up to the news of the death of Dallas McCarver who died rather suddenly. The well-loved bodybuilder was found in his home in Florida by his friend. He was said to be rushed to a nearby hospital but was declared dead on arrival.
The initial idea was that he died after choking on food, and there was nothing to suggest that he harmed himself or even any kind of foul play.

Dallas McCarver was not married but he had a girlfriend whom he dated for some time until his death. Her name is Ashley Mae Sebera, although she is more popular among lovers of fans as Dana Brooke. She is signed to the WWE where she has been slugging it out since 2014.
Also following in the footsteps of Dallas, she was also a fitness trainer and bodybuilder. the two were quite close until the unfortunate death of McCarver. According to some reports, Brooke was the last person McCarver spoke to on phone before he died.
While it is not known for how long the two dated before he died, there are some media speculations that it could be up to a year.
3. He always got new shoes for children
Each time that Dallas got a new shoe, Brooke revealed that the late bodybuilder made it a habit to also get one for children.
Because of this and other charity engagements he has been involved in, Ashley Sebera and Redcon1 CEO Aaron Singerman started a foundation in his name, known as the Dallas McCarver Foundation. The foundation was started with the aim of giving back to kids.
4. He collapsed onstage months before his death
In March 2017, months before he died, Dallas attended the Arnold Classic Australia where he was considered a favorite. But then, he couldn’t sustain to the end as he later collapsed onstage and was led away following infection with his respiratory tract.
He had the issue since he was in New Zealand but as agreed with his coach, Chad Nicholls, he kept pushing. After he was led away, the inspirational bodybuilder took to his social media to inform fans that all was well with him.

5. Dallas McCarver sacrificed football for bodybuilding
While he was growing up, Dallas loved football more than any other thing and he got involved in the sport. The International Federation of Bodybuilding and Fitness professional even played the sport while he was in high school, as already stated, but it was also at that time that he fell in love with weightlifting which would later lead him to bodybuilding and ultimately fame by 2012.
