1. Sporting Family Heritage
Marek was born into a family that has sports genes built in them. His father was a footballer before him, playing in Slovakia’s five-a-side team, where he was also the team captain; his mother, on the other hand, played handball on the side. His little sister, Michaela, also followed the family tradition of playing handball.
