Mason Mount is a young footballer who plays as a midfielder for the English football club, Chelsea as well as for the England national team at different levels.

It was on January 10, 1999, that Mason Mount was born in Portsmouth, Hampshire. While the name of his father is Tony Mount, the name of his mother is said to be Debbie Mount. He also has an older sister who is already married.
From a very young age, Mount showed so much interest in football as well as a talent and determination that it was obvious to his father who was once a non-league manager for Havant Town, that he was out to play.
When he was 5, Tony took his son took his son to a club in Farnham where he started playing with the club believing he was 6.
By the time he was eight, Chelsea had spotted the young kid with exceptional talent and he was given the chance to play for the Chelsea youth team with which he remained until 2017 when he was promoted to the senior team.
To get him to improve as a footballer, Mason Mount was sent on loan to the Netherlands where he played for Vitesse. After 29 games and 9 goals, he returned to Chelsea only to go on loan again to Frank Lampard’s Derby County where he scored 8 goals in 35 games from 2018 to 2019.
During his stint with Vitesse, he was voted the 2017/2018 Vitesse Player of the Year as well as part of the Eredivisie Team of the Year. Before then, he won 2 FA Youth Cups with Chelsea as well as UEFA Youth League.

Following the departure of Sarri and the coming of Frank Lampard, Mount got the chance he needed and has since the start of the 2019/2020 season, got the chance to play for the club. After his first 7 games for the club, Mount scored 3 goals, playing alongside Tammy Abraham.
As regards his international career, Mason Mount played for England at almost all levels. From 2014 to 2015, the youngster played for the England Under-16 team, followed by the Under-17, Under-18, Under-19, and then the under-21 team in 2018. In 2019, following his excellent form for Chelsea, Mount got the all-important call to play for the Three Lions for which he has already had two caps.
