Matthew Noszka is a model and American actor whose fame came thanks to Instagram where he was first discovered. An avid basketball player, he got to go to college thanks to basketball scholarship but somehow, he did not come to pursue it as a career. Matthew Noszka was born October 27, 1992, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. That was where he spent his early years before moving to New York City with his family. Of Swedish, Irish, German, and Polish descent, he was brought up by his father who worked as a construction worker and his mother who is a cancer survivor; she was diagnosed with cancer when he was only 11.
As regards his education, he went to Chartiers Valley High School in Pittsburgh where he played basketball. Thanks to his skills and talent, he got a scholarship to play basketball at Point Park University. While there, he studied business. He also did some off jobs including as a construction worker during his summer break.
At the time, what he wanted to become after he was through with his education was to become a professional basketball player and he also wanted to be an actor. His love for sports is not something that came from nowhere as he is the grandson of Stan Noszka who is a former professional basketball player who played for the Boston Celtics.
He took to social media in 2014 where he casually started sharing his picture like almost anyone would. Fortunately for him, he was discovered by Luke Simone a representative of Wilhelmina Models agency in New York who asked for more pictures from Matthew. A few days later, Noszka got his first modeling gig and it was for Nike.
In the years that followed, he modeled for some of the biggest brands in the world including Hugo Boss, Versace, Moncler, Levi’s, Nike, and Kalvin Klein. More so, he has appeared on the cover of various magazines and was named among the fifty fittest men by Vogue Magazine.
As an actor, he has not appeared in many films in the past. He was in an episode of Tales in 2017, playing the role of Brody and then from 2018 to 2019, he was in Star as Jackson Ellis. He is also in the yet to be released film, Let it Snow.
