Rosangel Cabrera Once Called 911 For Her Husband 

Sometime in October 2009, it was reported that Rosangel Cabrera called 911 when she may have been involved in a physical confrontation with her husband.

In the report, it was added that the baseball player had above the normal alcohol content in his body and that may have resulted in his being physical with his wife who was crying at the time she called the police at about 6:00 am.

He was then taken to the police station and at about 7:30 am, Tigers general manager Dave Dombrowski picked him up from there.

The incident turned out to lead him to stay off of alcohol for months. He also began treatment for alcohol abuse in January 2010.
