Mirra Andreeva was born on April 29, 2007, and she’s 17 years old at the moment. While not so much has been established about her early life and family background, we garnered that she was raised in Krasnoyarsk, Russia.
2. Mirra’s Older Sister is also a Tennis Player
As you would find, Mirra is not the only athlete in her family. Her older sister Erika Andreeva is also a tennis player and as of April 2023, she was ranked as high as No. 114 in the world. It wouldn’t be wrong to say that Mirra’s sister was the one who inspired her to also pick up the racquet.
Though from Russia, the sisters moved to Moscow for coaching and are currently enrolled at an academy in France.

4. She is the Third Youngest Player to Win a Main Draw Match at a WTA 1000 Event
In 2023, Mirra received a main draw wildcard at the WTA Madrid Open. From the records, she won her first-round match against former US Open finalist Leylah Fernandez. Following this, she became the third youngest player to win a main draw match at a watch at a WTA 1000 event. Her victory came after Coco Gauff and CiCi Bellis who are younger.
5. Mirra was the Second 15-Year-Old to Beat a Top-50 Player
In addition to several titles Mirra has won since the start of her career, she also became the second 15-year-old to beat a top 50- player at a WTA 1000 event. It is recorded that her victory came after Bellis.
She is also the seventh youngest player since 2000 to defeat a Top 20 player.
6. Mirra Andreeva Spends her Free Time on TV
The Russian tennis player admitted that she is like most teenagers. As such she enjoys watching TV series when she gets free time. Also, she gets to look at her school engagements but sometimes skips.
